It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a true legend in the world of soccer, Betty Williams. As co-founder of Sporting California USA Arsenal, Betty's impact on the Southern California Soccer Community was immeasurable. Her trailblazing spirit, dedication , and countless championships won over the years made her an inspiration to us all. 

Today, we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman who played a vital role in shaping the lives of so many young athletes. Betty provided countless kids with a pathway to achieve their dreams through the beautiful game of soccer. her passion and unwavering commitment were evident in the success and growth of Sporting California, and her legacy will continue to live on. 

To Betty's beloved family...her husband Steve, children Rick and Steve, as well as her 7 grandkids and 4 great grandkids...We offer our deepest condolences. We know that words cannot ease the pain of losing such an extraordinary person, but we hope that the love and support of the Sporting California family and the memories you hold close will being you some comfort durning this difficult time. 

In the coming days, Sporting California will be issuing a more detailed statement, highlighting the incredible years of commitment Betty gave to our organization and just how much she meant to all our families. We want to hone her legacy and ensure that her impact is forever remembered. 

Betty, thank you for being a beacon of inspiration and for making a lasting impact on the lives of so many. Your passion, dedication, and love for the game will forever be remembered.
